Weekend & stuff

The weekend was a bit stressful. Teaching was OK in the end, but a complete lack of organisation by the host school (noone there to open the place up, no proper medical details or parental contact details for the kids, unsuitable rooms, etc) meant that it was pretty horrendous to start with. The hen night was more or less as expected. Pete's parents came round on Sunday afternoon & that was a bit stressful.

Then there were the good bits, like having nice people (kitty_goth, marnameow, sbp, MBM) round Sunday evening for pizza & Pimms & music-listening & stuff. Which cheered me up enormously.

And then there were the very good bits.

Today I am in weird headspace. Up & down & round & round. Maybe I'm echoing the erratic weather. Maybe it's due to my head still being in the middle of processing stuff. I'm having sugar cravings, & that hasn't happened in *months* (I have, of course, listened to them & am now eating Bourbon biscuits). Peculiar. Twitchy.

Got a very nice roll-type thing from De Gustibus. Brain, & indeed rest of self, now feeling more sensible. Sugar-craving has gone away, which is a good sign (I *really* don't eat much in the sweet/biscuit line any more as a rule. Vegan cheesecakes excepted :-) ). Thank you for making me think of it!
