Richard III
Jul. 10th, 2003 03:57 pmThis production of Richard III, currently on at the Globe, looks rather interesting.
kitty_goth,
marnameow & myself were thinking of going on the evening of Wednesday 23rd July. There's restricted view upper gallery seats at 13quid, or standing tickets for 5quid (I am dithering about which would be better; don't think my knees are up to standing throughout, unfortunately). Anyone else interested?

Date: 2003-07-10 09:31 am (UTC)On the other hand, I'm not the one who'll have to stand there for the duration :-) I went on a school trip once to see "The Tempest", and we had seats that were right by the standing bit. So we could go and join the throng when we felt like it, getting a fuller sense of authentic Shakespearean atmosphere, and we could sit down when we got tired. Sounds like the best option, if you ask me.
Just my $0.02 [/english student mode]
