Bother. I cannot remember who it was that I was talking to about Colin Batchelor's "In. The. Name. Of. The. Wee. Man" rant, & thus who it is that I promised I'd email it to. Was it any of you lot?

(if there's anything else I've promised anyone that I'd do & haven't, um, you should remind me. Memory like wet tissue paper, etc etc).

I had the whole set of St Clare's books (and the Mallory Towers ones, and indeed pretty much every Enid Blyton book ever published - I was something of a single-minded child!), but when my parents moved house, I wasn't living somewhere that had houseroom for them all, so they went to the next school jumble sale. Otherwise, you could probably have had them!

I think we've still got most of them in my parents' attic, but although I'm tempted to pinch them all, a) my mum would object & b) we have enough problems with shelf space as it is...
