julietI have actually been surprisingly productive today, despite being TOO HOT. Also I got to have lunch at the George with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
shadow_jess which was of course ace. It's the sort of productive that involves dealing with old emails & other non-taxing stuff, mind.
Teaching at GIFT on Monday & Tuesday went v well indeed. Really nice bunch of kids (13-18, & all previously been on GIFT courses), very bright, & either I got them interested in what I was going on about, or they were interested in the first place, either or which will do me :-) Hurrah. Must make proper notes before I forget how it went.
Went *swimming* yesterday evening on High Holborn, in the open-air swimming pool, which was lovely. Just Pete,marnameow & me in the end, & when we were done swimming, we went to the pub, which is also always a good thing. Hurrah. Then Pete & I got home & decided to sleep out in the garden. This was an excellent plan - slept great until about 5am, when I woke up a bit chilly & we retreated inside for the remaining couple of hours. Although another time I'd just fetch a blanket or something - it was too hot inside again by 7am, really.
Off to london.pm for a bit this evening, then back tokitty_goth's. Both good things.
