Care & feeding etc... (as seen elsewhere)
Aug. 21st, 2003 12:57 pmActually, the feeding part is pretty much essential.
In case there's anyone out there who's known me for more than a week or so & *hasn't* noticed this: if I don't get a nice solid lump of something carb-heavy about every 8 hours, I have a tendency to break, often quite impressively. If I seem wobbly, or weepy, or irrational, enquire whether I've eaten. If not, dig out the emergency hula hoops (ready salted) & point me in the direction of something like pasta. In extreme cases, I collapse on the floor & have to be cooked for, but I am *trying* to keep an eye on my blood sugar & not let it get that far.
That'll do for the moment. Other suggestions/comments welcome :-)

Date: 2003-08-21 05:57 am (UTC)I also break if I don't get food, although 8 hours in teh daytime without food would be quite an accomplishment for me. I barely make it through that at night, hence the bedtime snacks, and eating breakfast immediately upon waking.
