Paint!

As per previous entry, this weekend I have mostly been painting walls. Photos here (here for links to previous photos). The colours haven't come out that well, sadly, but they're all v pretty, honest. Assistance today was variously provided by kitty_goth, ejde, boyofbadgers, and Wendy, all of whom are ace. We got everything we meant to get done, done. Go us. Even the second coat of the dark half of the living room, despite yesterday's colour-related changes of mind. Hurrah.

Tired now. We were going to watch Bring It On, but the reception here is just *too* shit. So we're watching Casablanca instead, cos Ben hasn't seen it.

Party last night was good - saw some folk I haven't seen in *ages*. Though was sorry to miss folk at katyha's Christmas party. Curses for this whole 'unable to be in two places at once' business!

Sorry to miss you as well - would be good to try to sort out catching up sometime soon, though I'm more or less up to my eyeballs till Christmas now, what with finishing off the decorating & with moving :-(

I'm more or less up to my eyeballs till Christmas now, Ditto, although with less reason! I'll get around to posting a January schedule at some point soon and then perhaps we can find time in the new year :-)

I've already packed a suitcase & two boxes, so it's not *all* disaster :-) Just that fitting that in plus the woodwork painting etc (plus one work Xmas do which I really have to at least show my face at for an hr or so, plus P's work Xmas do which I'm skiving in order to paint woodwork but he has to go to, plus a New Model Army gig which OK is not essential but I've wanted to see them for FOREVER so....) is a bit hairy. But it *will* all happen - most of the packing, really, is books & CDs, which at least pack tidily & pretty quickly.

[takes deep calming breaths]

Time in the new year would be good :-)
