Disturbing things

julietHealthy kids learn better shocker - but much more disturbingly, down the bottom we learn that McDonalds are launching the McCarrot. Help.
Last night Pete made baked cabbage & lentils, with a sweet potato & some brocolli, for dinner (& v nice it was too); and I broke my sewing machine needle. The two things are, I believe, unconnected. So far none of the sewing-machine-bit companies I've emailed have replied telling me whether or not they sell replacement needles for a 30-yr-old machine. Bah.
