Rain and that

julietI have missed cycling. Cycling in this morning made me really quite happy - surprisingly so given that it was absolutely pelting it down at the time. Sufficiently wet, indeed, that I had to detour on my way in, to buy a dry skirt to wear rather than sit in my damp trousers all day. And then bought two skirts, instead, because I liked them both. Oops. But yes: hurrah for exercise, & not struggling onto the Tube.
The rocket (last year's plants) has started growing again, so I had 6 tiny little rocket leaves to take in with me today. Well, it's a start. Everything else has started sending out shoots, as well. I have high hopes for the blackberry & raspberry canes this year. For the moment, I suffice my fruity desires with apples & oranges & dried apricots. (no, none of which I grew myself).
My LJ account is about to run out, curses curses. Will wait till after payday to renew, anyway.
