After my last post, Kitty & I did indeed head up to Camden (after sitting on the balcony, in deckchairs, for a few minutes to enjoy the sunshine - hurrah for the spring!). And he bought me many clothes, for lo! he is a lovely. We stopped off in the Dev for a swift half, but time was getting on by then & it was time to get back home for dinner & heading out.

Subversion was top fun: hurrah for both [livejournal.com profile] kitty_goth & [livejournal.com profile] marnameow :-) And nice to see various other people as well. Getting home was a bit of a nightmare (torrential rain, a total lack of taxis, & just missing 2 nightbuses), but we chilled out afterwards with salty-drink-of-doom & wine...

Sunday morning saw a visit to the [livejournal.com profile] allotment (details there); after which everyone headed back to Kitty & Katie's place &, well, just kind of stuck there.... So we spent the rest of the afternoon & evening sitting around drinking beer, talking nonsense, & generally having a time of great splendidness; more or less my ideal Sunday, really, all round. Hurrah for lovely friends.

Unfortunately now I have a sniffle *again*, & I was greeted on arriving at work this am (at 0815) by a lack of a/c in the server room & consequent Very Hot (in some cases too hot to touch) Servers most of which had shut down. Oops. Thankfully everything came back up again OK once cooled, but it wasn't one of my better mornings.

However! I will remain cheerful regardless, because I had a weekend which went: bouncy dancing; shopping; fetish club; planting potatoes down the allotment; and copious quantities of pleasant beverages & excellent conversation scattered throughout. Thus, y'know, general rockingness.

Someone naming a club after version control software?

Doh! I remember an office where we had to keep the door to the machine room open because of course we couldnt leave the windows open over the weekend.
