On a train...

julietI am currently on a train (free wifi trial thingy!) to Edinburgh. I have been on this train since approx 1755 (I should have been on it at 1700, & off again at 2125). I am a little weary now... Not to mention hungry! (sandwich + 2 pks crisps + some biscuits = Insufficient Dinner).
(problems with an overhead cable at Grantham, apparently. At KX they were advising people to travel tomorrow, but that would have meant I'd only have been in Edinburgh for about 30 hrs which seemed non-ideal; though if the train had taken any longer to show up I'd prob have given up).
ANYWAY. I would say 'entertain me' but it is too late probably as I'm only here for another 15 min & also at this time of night doubtless everyone is either asleep or out having fun. Bah.![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
martling assures me he has beer & food awaiting my arrival, which I am eagerly looking forward to!
ION: I am rather enjoying The Mysterious Flame of Queen Loana by Umberto Eco, but it is a bit too challenging for this time of night, esp if yr blood sugar is a bit screwed...
