EPO?? You're going to Glastonbury, not cheating at the Tour de France :)

Hehehehe :) I hear that though - I took KALMS with me one year for the same purpose after a hormonal related meltdown the previous years (in fact, MOST YEARS, timing sux).

You don't need any extra identity-proving things if you have the shiny photo-ticket, do you?

You have clearly forgotten Kitchen Sink.

And some things on the list are for the whole campsite - storm kettle, say - rather than one per person.

I've been thinking about packing too (it seems to build up the anticipation!). Yesterday I went out in the pouring rain in my waterproof jacket and found out that it actually leaks like mad. Nice to know that in advance! I think I shall replace it with a Blacks kag-in-a-bag that folds up very small and has big hippy flowers on it.

Are you bringing wellies?

From: [identity profile] boyofbadgers.livejournal.com
Yeah, proper boots >> wellies, IME. It's probably worth noting that standard 8-hole DMs don't count as proper boots when it comes to the muddy crunch. They're OK if it rains a bit, but don't really stand up to the sort of puddles you get in a bad year.

Of course, all this boot talk is strictly hypothetical, because it's not going to rain this year.

Woo!

Must buy a chair. And decide how crazy I am, viz. what camera I am bringing.

What is the train plan?

From: [identity profile] martling.livejournal.com
Okay. Yeah, I think it makes more sense for me to go direct, but I will be coming back to London as I have to catch a 6:30am flight to Cork the next day, joy.

Any chance of sending my ticket northwards? I will pay for whatever fancy postal service seems safe enough.

Nah, this is 6:30 Monday morning, gonna have to bail before the end.

Should be, but may not be there till the evening. Trying to sort this all out with work etc at the moment.

The boring and sensible thing would be for me to bring my Casio, assuming I get and fit the replacement LCD I've ordered for it in time. But I suspect that will lead to an awful lot of "argh, wish I had the Nikon" moments.

I fancy bringing a foldy type one just to keep around the tents, and been meaning to get one of those anyway.

Aww you have just reminded me that I have a DAD STOOL which would actually make a pretty good computer chair (my computer is currently in an Impractical Place). RAH FOR DAD STOOLS!

Do you think? I was contemplating buying a lightweight cheapo dad chair, but perhaps should just bring some carrier bags for sitting on...? thoughts?

OMG AM SO STOKED!

The three legged dad stool is much less bother than the full blown chair, but not as comfortable.

For "chair" read "recumbent trike"?
