Lovely morning today. And yesterday, though I noticed it more yesterday as I was cycling in from Islington. Bright, clear, crisp... I commented on the niceness as I got into work, & all my colleagues looked at me as though I were insane. Apparently I'm the only one who notices, because everyone else is stuck on the tube. I thought that this was a bit crap of them, as you do have to walk *from* the tube to the office; but then I caught the tube this morning, & I suppose they're right. Too many tall buildings to really see the sunshine, and you're walking west rather than east so you miss the sunrise itself. Still, I made a point of looking.

Off to see the Reduced Shakespeare Company this evening with [livejournal.com profile] shadow_jess & Pete, which should be fun. Then up to Aberdeen tomorrow, for family do - my aunt & uncle's 50th wedding anniversary. We get to spend something like 13 hours on the train, for 22 or so hours in Stonehaven, which should be somewhat less fun. I have vast quantities of knitting to get done, though, so at least it can be useful time. Less than a month now to Christmas, which is A Bit Of An Issue when it comes to time for construction of Christmas presents.

Spent too much money on yarn yesterday. Whoops. Still, most of it isn't for me, so that doesn't count (think I can tell Barclaycard that?).

The RSC is cool :) I'm sure I wasn't meant to giggle at Shakespear mind...

Which RSC show are you going to see? We've seen their Shakespeare and Bible; I thought the former was slightly better but I don't know if that's due to the content or just prior familiarity with the act. They were both pretty good anyway.

I notice lovely mornings even when I am on the Tube.

Today's weather was great! I can deal with winter days, if they're bright and dry like this :)

It's just the previous few days that have been 'orrible. Even in all my riding gear, I still ended up damp, and with wet hands and feet :/

the morning is when you are supposed to be in bed. the workers get up before sunrise, but you are supposed to be educated, and such education is a waste if it does not provide you with a decent standard of living, the foremost indicator of which is not having to get up in the morning.
