juliet: Tiny baby shoot of rhubarb (baby rhubarb!)

If anyone is chucking out anything that looks remotely like a container you could put compost in & grow plants in, please let me know - I am seeking more containers for the balcony & would rather reuse/recycle than buy.

Things I am already intending to use: elderly metal roasting tin (good for things that don't have lots of roots), plastic tubs that I think used to hold some variety of pigment (thank you freecycle!), ice-cream boxes. Anything that you can drill holes in (for drainage) and won't rot. (The roasting tin may in due course rust but I'll worry about that as & when.)

My flatmate gets through an inordinate amount of Carte d'Or - I'll see if there are any empties going begging.

I may actually have a bunch of actual plastic flowerpots - I'll have a look (I also left some flowerpots at the allotment when I dropped off the butler sink, I dunno if these have been used?)

I have about 4 small plastic flower pots, and two window boxes if you would like those...

We have plenty of large plant pots and some white pedestal type pots that I am sure you could have. I think we already gave away all our window boxes though but can check. Any use to you?

They are all plastic and should not be too hard to transport. We have a selection so you could just take the lighter ones.

Please do take the plastic ones as they are taking up vital space, and I'm just not going to get that much into gardening that I'll need them!
