The weather today is somewhat inclement, especially for cycling in. (thanks again to j4 for her generous donation to the cause last year of a pair of waterproof trousers. These make me much happier) Especially when idiots in cars force you into enormous puddles & your feet get wet. Bah. Still, socks now dried on radiator.

Most pleasant evening yesterday - swift pint at the Sussex with kitty_goth & BeatlesMike, then headed off to catsgomiaow's for wine & v nice chilli & general high-value company. Top stuff.

I've got a pair of overshoe things which will just about fit over the size 8 boots I wear which I'm not using any more (replaced them with a set which was larger and designed to go over boots) if you'd like them.

Well, given that I've taken advantage of Edinburgh Bicycle's (http://www.edinburgh-bicycle.co.uk/) sale (15% off bikes, 20% off accessories & clothing until Sunday) to get some better fitting overshoes (which are now a little on the large size, ah well) I don't need the old ones any more :)

Whilst they were tight on my black/purple boots, they may well fit over a pair of size 8 trainers.

By the way, is that the same Sussex that's just over Essex Road in the 'burbs, kinda nearish to the Sainsburys on Essex Road?

Nope - it's the Sussex near Leicester Square (can never remember the name of the damn road, but it's east of LSq). Nice enough pub, for the area. Does quite good food, for not too much money.
