Upstairs is Too Hot. Pete & I have decided that sleeping outside is the answer. Hurrah for gardens.

In other news: the outdoor swimming pool on High Holborn is rather nice, & an excellent idea of [livejournal.com profile] marnameow's; and Marna & I, after much discussion, have decided that the best solution to the BMovie "as little clothing as possible" conundrum is to wear bikini tops with nice light sarong-type material with shiny bits on, to be acquired by Marna at John Lewis tomorrow. Hurrah. Does this sound like a plan, folks?

I have actually been surprisingly productive today, despite being TOO HOT. Also I got to have lunch at the George with [livejournal.com profile] shadow_jess which was of course ace. It's the sort of productive that involves dealing with old emails & other non-taxing stuff, mind.

Teaching at GIFT on Monday & Tuesday went v well indeed. Really nice bunch of kids (13-18, & all previously been on GIFT courses), very bright, & either I got them interested in what I was going on about, or they were interested in the first place, either or which will do me :-) Hurrah. Must make proper notes before I forget how it went.

Went *swimming* yesterday evening on High Holborn, in the open-air swimming pool, which was lovely. Just Pete, [livejournal.com profile] marnameow & me in the end, & when we were done swimming, we went to the pub, which is also always a good thing. Hurrah. Then Pete & I got home & decided to sleep out in the garden. This was an excellent plan - slept great until about 5am, when I woke up a bit chilly & we retreated inside for the remaining couple of hours. Although another time I'd just fetch a blanket or something - it was too hot inside again by 7am, really.

Off to london.pm for a bit this evening, then back to [livejournal.com profile] kitty_goth's. Both good things.
