Blue, blue, electric blue...

...is the colour of my HAIR.

Actually, this is a slight exaggeration. It has instead gone several rather nice shades of blue - light bright blue near the roots (where the bleach did a very good job), kind of indigo in the bits where the bleach didn't entirely get rid of the red/purple, & middling blue in the other patches. Splendid.

kitty_goth has gone very blonde indeed. It occurred to us, as we were washing off the bleach (he is *such* a wuss about cold water! And the shower in St P does very hot or very cold & nothing in between), that perhaps what he was *actually* after was some kind of highlighted effect, or perhaps a less violent form of bleach, rather than 40% peroxide all over. However, it looks cute so that's OK :-)

I am watching a very slow Solaris patch install happen. Joyous. Then hopefully I get to watch Firefox install rather quicker.

Glastonbury weather update

Both the BBC and Metcheck now say sunny Thursday Friday Sunday, bit of rain Saturday daytime. The BBC webcam here, possibly indicates that currently it is raining, but let's hope that it stops soon. On the bright side, getting tent pegs into the ground ought to be no problem :-)

I left my bike at St P this morning, concluding that I would drown if I attempted to cycle to work. This may have been wussy of me, but there we go.
