It is clearly too hot & sunny for me to be sat inside at a desk. I disapprove of this "working" business, or at the least of doing the working in an office. I want to go *home* and sit on the decking with a laptop, if I really have to do stuff.
Plus, I sprained my hand on Friday evening putting the tent away, & it transpires today that typing is bad for it. I can't really avoid typing, either. Ow.

Date: 2003-07-14 05:37 am (UTC)Very true; although since I was flip-flopping on if I was going into work or not today I'm wearing work-like stuff. The main differences being that I'm not wearing a smart t-shirt and don't have the trouser part of my trousers attached. That and I'm not wearing boots :)
Being at home has the major advantages of being able to play music via speakers rather than headphones and having cat-enforced breaks :)

Date: 2003-07-14 05:53 am (UTC)Have you checked the basics - like is your chair at the right height, and are your hands supported? I have a wrist pad on my work computer, and a wrist rest on my mouse mat too. Not sure whether they'd help - but might be worth investigating, especially if you spend lots of time by your computer. Other than that, maybe Boots for a wrist support.....
Hope it sorts itself out soon;-)
